If you must brush wet, it’s best to let it dry completely first and use a wide-tooth brush or comb to avoid causing fizz and more damage. Be careful not to pull too hard, as it could cause more broken ends and potentially traction alopecia which can result in permanent follicle damage. Also, it’s best to clean your brushes at least once a week with warm water and a bit of shampoo so that any residue isn’t getting back into your hair or clogging your capillaries or sebaceous glands.
